Café de Plak has been around for 40 years and is especially famous for its ‘minced cheese’. In addition to this vegetarian ‘cheese ball’, there is a wide choice of vegetarian, fish and meat dishes, which are served every day with delicious hand-cut fries, two fresh salads and warm vegetables. Fresh, responsible and affordable; just good food in a casual atmosphere. That is why it is nice and busy every day at De Plak.
During the day you can go to Café de Plak for a hot lunch; varying from grilled cheese sandwich to bouncer and from soup to vegetarian burger; delicious coffee, cake and daily fresh soup. De Plak is notorious for its parties in the basement, which you can also rent if you want to throw a party yourself. De Plak is proud to be a collective: there is no boss, all employees contribute to the operational management and decisions are made democratically.
Lunch is possible from 12:00 to 16:00, in the evening our kitchen is open from 17:30 to 21:30.

Reservations can only be made for groups (10 to 30 people) in the specially designated room in the basement. You can also rent the basement for a party. the capacity is about 110 people.
