I am Gino (Dobbelstein). All-round tattoo artist. Either specialized in different styles, such as Old Skool, New Skool, Japanese, Neo Traditional, Black and Gray (B&W), Tribal, Celtic, Maori, Biker tattoos, Realistic, Cover-ups, Dotwork, Geomatric, Maori and Polynesian style. From the age of 8 I have had a huge fascination for tattoos. Of course I had no idea of ​​the meaning at the time, but I found tattoos very fascinating at the time and that has never stopped since. I have been tattooing since 1994 and have had my own shop in Schiedam since December 1997. Tattooing is a profession (craft) in which you never stop learning. Personally, I prefer tattoos with a lot of color (full color). With a good overflow in the colors and the use of a lot of black you can achieve very high contrasts, which really makes the tattoo stand out. This also applies to tattoos that are only done with shades of gray. In the end, every tattoo stands or falls (in the longer term) with the contrast that has been applied to it. Because everyone understands that a tattoo is in fact “long term” thinking. So I always keep that in mind. If you still want to get rid of an old tattoo, keep in mind that this is a profession in its own right. Making good cover-ups is something that I have specialized in over the years.
